Abderrahmane Marzoug is avisual artist based in Rabat (Morocco).
Working predominantly in photography, Marzoug explores our relationship with time, space, heritage, and the natural world. His photographs use landscape to create timeless invitations to meditation and reflection, often using long exposures taken at dusk to capture details that the human eye cannot easily perceive, highlighting the complexity of these places. Environmental protection and the politics of landscape are vital motivations. His work has been presented internationally in galleries, museums, and festivals including Tate Modern, London; PHotoESPAÑA, Madrid; Beirut Image Festival; International Photography Biennial of Cordoba; and Galerie d’art CDG, Rabat.
Marzoug has also worked extensively as an art director, product designer, and web developer.
